Welcome to Trekking in Ladakh Zanskar, operated by Djule Adventure. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Booking and Payment

• Reservation Confirmation: To confirm a booking, a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total trip cost is required. The remaining balance must be paid at least 30 days before the commencement of the tour.​
• Payment Methods: We accept payments via bank transfer, cash payments or other methods as specified during the booking process.​
• Late Bookings: For bookings made less than 30 days before departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.​

2. Cancellation and Refund Policy

• Client-Initiated Cancellations:
  • More than 30 days before departure: 70% refund of the total trip cost.
  • 15–30 days before departure: 50% refund.
  • Less than 15 days before departure: No refund.​
• Company-Initiated Cancellations: If Djule Adventure cancels a trip due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, political unrest), clients will receive a full refund or may opt to reschedule.​

3. Travel Insurance

All participants are required to have comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical emergencies, trip cancellations, personal liability, and high-altitude trekking activities. Proof of insurance must be provided before the trip commences.​

4. Health and Fitness Requirements

Participants must ensure they are physically fit for the chosen trek or tour. It is advisable to consult a healthcare professional before undertaking high-altitude activities. Djule Adventure reserves the right to refuse participation to individuals deemed unfit without liability.​

5. Itinerary Changes

While we strive to adhere to the planned itinerary, circumstances such as weather conditions, road closures, or other unforeseen events may necessitate changes. Djule Adventure reserves the right to modify itineraries in the interest of safety and client satisfaction.​

6. Accommodation and Meals

Accommodation is provided as per the itinerary and is subject to availability. In remote areas, facilities may be basic. Meals included in the package will be specified during booking. Special dietary requirements should be communicated in advance.​

7. Equipment and Gear

Clients are responsible for bringing appropriate clothing and gear suitable for high-altitude trekking. Djule Adventure may provide certain equipment as specified in the trip details. Any loss or damage to company-provided equipment due to negligence will be charged to the client.​

8. Environmental Responsibility

We are committed to sustainable tourism. Clients are expected to respect local customs, wildlife, and the environment. Littering and damage to natural or cultural sites are strictly prohibited.​

9. Liability and Risk Acknowledgment

Adventure travel involves inherent risks. By participating, clients acknowledge these risks and agree that Djule Adventure, its employees, and affiliates are not liable for any injuries, losses, or damages incurred during the trip, except where caused by gross negligence.​

10. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

Any complaints should be communicated to the tour leader or company representative as soon as possible. We will endeavor to resolve issues promptly. If unresolved, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Leh, Ladakh, India.​

11. Privacy Policy

Personal information collected during booking will be used solely for the purpose of organizing the trip and will not be shared with third parties without consent, except as required by law.​

12. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, images, and logos, is the property of Djule Adventure and is protected by copyright laws. Unauthorized use or reproduction is prohibited.​

13. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of India.​
