Description
This is slightly longer rafting on the Tsarap River with rapid grade 3. Starts from Shila, in the Lungnak valley down the white babbling water of Tsarap River along giant towering mountains on both sides, all of a sudden it opens into the wide triangular valley of central Zanskar with picturesque Pibiting Guru with majestic Karsha monastery in the background. Near the lower Kumik village, the Tsarap River merges with the Stod River and emerges as the famous Zanskar River crawling deep into the Sham valley of Zanskar with its wrathful yet beautiful eddies and swirls. Ends at Zangla. Recommended for mostly to people of younger age group.
