Rungdum to Lamayuru trek is one of wild and isolated trekking route in Ladakh. It start from Rangdum Monastery and by crossing Kanjila Pass.

Detailed Day-wise Itinerary
Morning after breakfast you will continue your trek from Rangdum Monastery. You will continue your trek along the small river of rangdum. It will be easy day trek of 5 hrs. Just before camp you will cross a small river. Overnight camp.
Today will be hard day trek. From the starting you will start the trek with climb to Kanji la pass. It will take 3.5 hrs to arrive at top of kanjila pass. From the top you will find a becautiful view . You van also find the view of Num and Kun. Fromthe top it will be steep decend to Base of Kanjila. Overnight Camp.
Again a easy day trek , It will be trek on the flat during whole day. On the way you will find Nomadic people with Yak and Sheeps. Evening you can visit Kanji village and their field works. Overnight Camp.
After breakfast, start trek for Shilakong. Enroute cross the Yogma-la Pass, from the top of pass you have spectacular view of landscape. After staying few minutes at the top, gently descend down and then you arrive at the camp. Overnight stay at camp.
After breakfast, continue trek to Urtsi Dok following the well defined and clear trek route on left bank of the river. After few hours of trek, you reach at the top of the Nigutse-la (5097Â m). Cross the pass and then descend down in beautiful valley opening on an immense plain where you find many animals like sheeps, goats and Yaks etc. Overnight at Camp.
It will be easy day trek by decend at the starting till sumdoo, After sumdoo it will be walk on flat route. Most of the route will be on motorable road, On the way you will cross beautiful village like fanjila. Overnight in camp.
Today is the last day of trek, It will start with the ascend of Prinkiti la pass. It will be along the nerrow valley. From the top of Prinkitila pass you will fine beautiful view. After decend till Lamayuru. Overnight Camp.
